As we all know that benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH is one of the most common issues in elderly gentlemen. The Rezum procedure will not conduct any scooping technique or even cut any tissue from the prostate gland. A special needle delivers water heat at 103 degrees Celsius targeting prostatic tissue, causing necrosis and shrinkage naturally over time. Patient can notice significant clinical improvement within 1 month post-Rezum.

Most patients begin to notice significant improvement in urinary symptoms within 1 month after the Rezum procedure. The treated prostate tissue gradually shrinks as the body naturally reabsorbs the necrotic cells.
