Dr. Soarawee Weerasopone (Dr. Pom) is a board-certified urologist practicing at Bangkok Hospital Headquarters and Samitivej Sriracha Hospital, Thailand. Dr. Soarawee built his career across Thailand and Cambodia. After receiving his Thai Board Certification in Urological Surgery (diploma issued 1 July 2016), he served as Attending Urology Staff at Burapha University Hospital and as a urology team member at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya in Chonburi (2016-2019). Concurrently, he began his Cambodian practice, eventually becoming Chief of the Urology Department at Royal Phnom Penh Hospital and senior urologist at Royal Angkor International Hospital under the BDMS Group network from 2016 to 2024 — a period spanning 8 years.
His international training comprises two clinical fellowships, both at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, in 2019: a Fellowship in Andrology at the Kaohsiung branch under Professor Po-Hui Chiang, which is the formal qualification underpinning his men’s health and penile prosthesis practice, and a Fellowship in Robotic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Urology. He subsequently completed an Endourology Observership at Juntendo University Hospital, Japan (2022), and a Research Scholar & Clinical Observer appointment at the Scott Department of Urology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA (October 2025 – October 2026), under Professor Mohit Khera, with whom he continues to collaborate remotely on research. The Juntendo and Baylor appointments were observerships rather than fellowships, and the Baylor appointment carried no licence to practise medicine in the United States.
